Someone to love
Jitendra Kumar Singh*
I painted your image
In the deepness of silence
And dark is my cottage
I have no colour
Except black
Yet I desire
Permutation for perfection
Hitherto only black I have
And unite deep grey
With light black
For the disposal
Stroke after stroke
With my worn brush
Only to look at your
Formless spirit
Time and again
Your smile is the
Same as mine
Your flute is the one
That I hold in my hand,
The feather, the garland
All is same.
Are you none but me?
I see my own
Expression in you!
