Sarita Devi plans memoir
The Telegraph | Guwahati, Jan. 3:
Champion boxer Sarita Devi is planning her autobiography, which she intends to publish after the 2016 Rio Olympics. When this book comes out, Sarita will join celebrated boxer and friend Mary Kom, who had published her autobiography, Unbreakable, in 2013.
A biopic was also made on the five-time World Champion in 2014. "We share a lot in common, coming from Manipur to our humble origins. I will use the ban to prepare myself for the Games, which remains my main focus. I will train in Bangalore from next month and also travel abroad under the Olympic Gold Quest programme. The gold at Rio is my goal now," she told The Telegraph.
