Rebel alleges death threat - NIA says confinement charge 'false'

Jailed NSCN (Isak-Muivah) leader Anthony Shing alias Shimray has alleged that he was illegally confined for a week and threatened with “fake encounter” after being arrested on September 27, 2010.
Dismissing the allegations as false, former NIA director-general Sharad Sinha, who took over as member, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), this week, said, “Not just false, absolutely false”.
