Police seek people’s support to fight crime
The Telegraph | Imphal, June 4:
Police investigators in Manipur called for “full public support” for speedy investigation, prompt submission of chargesheets and quick delivery of justice to the victims of crimes against women.
In the past five years, the maximum number of crimes against women took place last year. There were 249 cases last year which include rape, murder after rape, molestation and suicide because of domestic violence,” vice-president of the National Federation of Indian Women, M. Shakhi Devi, said.
