PM asks Ibobi to act fast
The Telegraph | New Delhi, Sept. 21:
Fifty days into the economic blockade on Manipur’s crucial National Highway 39, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has written to chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh prodding him to take urgent steps.
The Prime Minister’s letter, written last week in view of the continuing blockade on the national highway, reached the chief minister’s office in Imphal on Monday.
Ibobi Singh is just back after a trip to Tokyo he took with his family in the middle of the crisis.
