Orgs reiterate demand for ILP in Manipur

Observing a rise to the crime committed by outsiders (Non-Manipuris) in Manipur, Federation of Regional Indigenous Societies (FRIENDS) Thursday reiterated its demand for re-introduction of inner line permit (ILP) system in the state.
Addressing the media in Imphal, president of FRIENDS Jadumani Sapamcha said “Crime committed by outsiders is on the rise in the state.” He also informed two non-locals were caught by volunteers of FRIENDS with fake currency note of Rs. 1000/- and fake driving licenses.
