Olympic Bhawan to open this month

The much-awaited Olympic Bhawan will finally see the light of day this month, as part of a bid to boost the Olympic movement in the state.
The Olympic Bhawan, constructed adjacent to the rowing canal of the Khuman Lampak sports complex, will house a library, a sports museum, faculty for medicine, six guest rooms and three conference halls, among other things.
Trekkers lauded
The Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association held a reception of the 48 trekkers, including three girls, who had visited Dzuko valley during the World Environment Day celebrations from June 5 to June 30 at Minuthong office today.
