No force can disintegrate Manipur's unity: Gaikhagam

Manipur deputy chief minister Gaikhangam Friday said that the no force in the world could disintegrate the unity of the state so long as people stand united. He was speaking at the 181st death anniversary of Maharaja Gambhir Singh, who chased out the marauding Awas (Burmese) from the kingdom of Manipur to end the famous ‘Seven Years of Devastation’ at the memorial complex, Langthabal.
Gaikhangam appealed to the people to inculcate the sense of patriotism and sacrifice as the brave forefathers did to protect the freedom and sovereignty.
