New trekking route to Dzukou valley opened

A new trekking route to famed Dzukou valley located between Manipur and Nagaland border was opened at a simple function in Senapati district on Monday.
Dzukou valley is situated at an altitude of 2,450 metres (8000 ft) above sea level behind the Japfu peak. “This route will take only five hours trek from the base camp of the MMTA at Mt Isii to Dzukou valley,” MMTA sources said.
