Nepal still safe for NE rebel leaders

After Bangladesh and Myanmar, Nepal has become the most favoured destination for Northeast militants with the neighbouring country providing the ideal conditions for furthering subversive activities.
Investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed that cadres belonging to the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) had pitched tent in Nepal for almost two years. Fake identity and ration cards were procured by them to ensure that they were not troubled by the government agencies.
