Ten days after the Action Committee Against Unabated Taxation (ACAUT), under the aegis of Naga council and other frontal organizations sought a sitting with the NSCN (I-M) leadership to discuss on possible streamlining of rampant taxation, ‘dealership and syndicate system’ issue, the latter has so far failed to commit on a date.
ACAUT, meanwhile, justifiably exasperated on being made to wait for so long, said they have forwarded the memorandum on the resolve of the civil societies, which have already reached the table of NSCN (I-M) top leaders Th. Muivah and Isak Chishi Swu at Hebron camp.
