The Telegraph | H. Chishi | Kohima, Nov. 11:
The NSCN led by Isak Chishi Swu and Thuingaleng Muivah today categorically said the framework accord signed on August 3 was based on "peaceful co-existence of two entities". "The framework agreement says sovereignty lies with the people. Sovereignty of India lies with the Indian people and sovereignty of the Nagas lies with Naga people. Therefore, solution based on shared sovereignty is a mutually agreed point," he said.
He said the term "Naga" is applied to all people who come from the same history, who belong to the same bloodline, practise common culture, live in a compact territory and speak language of common root and profess the same religion.
