TODAY -
NNC (N-A) for inclusive reconciliation
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Sep 10 (NPN)
NNC (non-accordist) today said it was looking forward that FNR would adopt the policy of inclusiveness and bring all Naga political groups under its ambit so as to let a sense of oneness prevail among the Nagas.
Pointing out that it has been closely observing recent “political activities” of the Naga issue, the NNC (N-A) in a statement issued by its MIP, said it was “very much” aware of all the activities that was going on though remained silent “for the reason best known to our government.” The NNC (N-A) however expressed the hope that outcome would be positive.
Meanwhile, the NNC (N-A) said it strongly endorsed the position of GPRN/NSCN chairman “gen” (retd). Khole Konyak and general secretary N.Kitovi Zhimomi that unless a clear status of political talks between NSCN (I-M) and government of India was laid before the Naga people the question of supporting or opposing the talks did not arise.
