Northeastern states like Manipur, Nagaland, Assam and Mizoram have emerged as India’s new smuggling hub.
Border Security Force (BSF), in its report to the external affairs ministry, has identified the routes which could be used to smuggle banned drug pseudoephedrine into Myanmar-- from Guwahati, they are taken to Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur before entering Myanmar.
