NEC building cultural centre for NE States in Delhi: Rajnath

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said the North Eastern Council (NEC) is building a North Eastern Cultural and Information Centre in Delhi to showcase the rich history, culture, heritage and cuisine of the eight North Eastern States.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Hornbill Festival at Kisama near Kohima, Singh said the centre would also have facilities for promotion of tourism, a common facility centre, a library, and a knowledge and resource centre in the national capital.
