Mnp Cong legislators vie for thorough study on ILP bills
Nagaland Post | Imphal, Sep 16:
Ministers and legislators of the ruling Congress Wednesday urged upon people, particularly tribal people, who were protesting against the three bills recently passed by Manipur Assembly, to study the bills thoroughly, clause by clause section by section, before commenting on it.
Addressing at the 42nd foundation day celebration of the All Manipur Working Journalists Union (AMWJU) at Manipur Press Club here, Manipur deputy chief minister Gaikhangam alleged that the protest against the three bills have no basis. They might have not study the bills clause by clause section by section thoroughly as they concentrated on the title and introductions of the bills. Leaders of the agitating groups need to study the bills clause by clause and section by section, the deputy chief minister said.
