Militants target education sector in Manipur

After targeting employees in the insurance, banking and hospitality sectors, militants in Manipur are now reportedly targeting students, teachers, principals and professors for extortion and ransom.
These attacks pose a threat to the education state's system and is being viewed with serious concern.
Oinam Imocha, a resident of Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai in Imphal is scared after suspected cadres of Government of People's Republic of Nagalim left a hand grenade outside the veranda of his house on March 31.
Though the grenade was removed, the fear in the mind of the 30-year-old Computer professor remains
