Meet seeks Sports policy revision
The Telegraph | Imphal, June 22:
Youth affairs and sports minister D.D. Thaisii has assured the sports movement committee, Manipur, that he will discuss the resolve arrived at during the discourse on Youth and Sports Movement, with the state government. The meet demanded that youth affairs and sports should be elevated to a major department.
It also asked for revival of the sports council and the finalising of the sport policy. The phase one discourse on the same topic was held on April 22.
Coaches training: Be professional in your chosen profession and impart your knowledge without egos, told All Manipur Football Association president A. Santoshkumar Singh to the trainee coaches of the 16-day AFC ‘C’ Certificate Course that concluded at Khuman Lampak sports complex.
