Justice (retd) P G Agarwal, probing the alleged fake encounter killing of a youth and the killing of a pregnant woman in Manipur in 2009, will submit his findings to the government this month.
"The police have given their versions. We have examined the version published in a journal. A number of persons, including two journalists of Tehelka, have been examined," he said.
The findings are expected to throw light on the circumstances that led to the killing of 27-year-old Chungkham Sanjit by police commandos at Imphal Market, which also led to the death of a pregnant woman by stray bullets on July 23, 2009. Thokchom Rabina, 22, pregnant for seven months, was killed in front of her two-year-old son.
