Koijam plea to three CMs
The Telegraph | Khelen Thokchom | Imphal, Sept 20
Former Manipur chief minister Radhabinod Koijam urged the chief ministers of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to come together and work out a "common strategy" to safeguard the boundary and administrative set-ups of the states in the light of Centre's effort to make a final settlement with the NSCN (I-M).
"It may be good and beneficial for the three states - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur - to put their heads together and work out a common strategy, as far as possible, to protect their individual interests in traditions, custom, culture, economy, administrative set-ups as well as practices, social relations, besides geographical areas," Koijam said in his identical letters.
