JAC against Ukhrul child torture; sets 5-day deadline
Nagaland Post | Ukhrul, Feb 15
A Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed against the inhuman torture meted out to a nine-year old recently in Ukhrul has set a five-day deadline to arrest the culprits. On Thursday, Ukhrul based organisations joined hands to form JAC against the inhuman torture inflicted to a minor girl by one Jim Horam on February 3 last.
Meanwhile, a co-accused Andibas Horam has been released on bail on Thursday. In the Ukhrul CJM court, the defendant lawyer has filed for bail for the co-accused citing ill health and with an assurance of reporting daily to the police station.
