Indian women win recurve Gold at Archery World Cup

Indian women's archery team defeated China in the recurve event to claim the gold medal at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Medellin, Columbia on Sunday. Led by World No. 3 Deepika Kumari and supported by Laishram Bombayla Devi and Rimil Buriuly, India trounced China 201-186 to claim their second medal of this World Cup and their first World Cup Women's team gold since Shanghai 2011.
China didn't have the best of starts to the final with Cheng Ming failing to register a score and her team mates Xu Jing and Cui Yuanyuan only scoring 6 and 5 with their first arrows.
