Increased vigil blocks rebels

An official of the Union home ministry, however, said today that groups like the Manipur-based People’s Liberation Army (PLA), NDFB (Sumarjit group) and Ulfa (Paresh Barua faction) had been facing a difficult time in infiltrating into India as “most of the routes have been blocked by security forces”.
He said the NSCN (Khaplang) has even asked Ulfa and the NDFB “not to move out of Myanmar in view of strong security presence”.
