'Implement directions for North Easterners’ safety in Delhi'

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the city government and police to implement the directions it had given time and again on the safety and security of people from the northeastern states residing in the capital.
The court took suo motu cognizance to curb alleged hate crimes and racial discrimination against people from the northeastern states and said that the government needs to “play a proactive role” in this. The detailed order will be available later, said the court.
