Imphal to be Southeast Asia air, land transit point by June
Nagaland Post | Imphal, April 8:
Introduction of international flights from Imphal airport and Imphal-Mandalay bus service were likely to be launched by June this year as hectic preparations were on to make Manipur a transit point to Southeast Asia under India’s Look East Policy.
Works for the development of infrastructure and opening of necessary offices under the Ministry of Civil Aviation were going on at war footing, an official source in Imphal informed.
