Manipur chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh today cautioned the Centre against including any provision in the final settlement of the NSCN (Isak-Muivah) that can disturb the existing boundary of Manipur. "Forget about the Centre, no super power in the world can break up Manipur," Ibobi Singh said during his Independence Day speech at the parade ground of 1 Manipur Rifles here.
Ibobi denied the claim made by the Centre's interlocutor R.N. Ravi that the latter met the former almost 12 times on the ongoing NSCN (IM) peace talks. He described Ravi's claim as "baseless" . Ibobi said he met Ravi only three times between April 27 and August 8.
