Gandhian harps on northeast's unique culture

Social activist and Gandhian S N Subba Rao on Thursday said the unique social and cultural aspects of the people of the northeast are a lesson for the rest of the country.
Rao was in the city to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of the second Bharat Jodo March. To commemorate the event, 25 people from different states have embarked on a journey from Itanagar to Shantiniketan in West Bengal. The march began on March 15 in Itanagar and is set to reach Shantiniketan on April 16.
