GPRN/NSCN questions NSF bandh call
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Jul 2 (NPN)
In a strong reaction to the NSF counter rejoinder, GPRN/NSCN maintained that it along with the rest of the Nagas would have applauded the Federation if the bandh called on July 1 was to protest against various other issues such as-against disunity, clashes and killings among Naga national workers; against multiple rampant taxation; against corruption in state government offices; to force the Nagaland state government against taking “abnormal cuts in all contract works” and to stop unrestrained entry of illegal immigrants into Nagaland.
However, GPRN/NSCN said Nagaland was shut down on July 1 when NSF bandh called to protest against what was termed as an “assassination attempt” after a stray bullet hit the NSF office bearer.
