Front looks stronger
The Telegraph | Guwahati, June 5:
The United National Liberation Front of Western South East Asia, a new front of militant outfits, has succeeded in bringing together rebel groups of the Northeast when earlier such attempts like the Indo-Burma Revolutionary Front or the National Liberation Front of Seven Sisters withered in no time.
Security and political analysts today said political changes in India's neighbourhood in recent years could keep the new umbrella front going for a much longer period than its predecessors if a proper strategy, other than counter offensive measures, is not put in place.
