Energy-rich NE can attract EU companies

The northeastern states with their abundant hydro power and potential for other renewable energy sources, offer immense opportunity for companies in the European Union (EU) to collaborate in the fields of energy, water and green technologies.
“We are keen to learn what people in North East India really need in the field of renewable energy and clean technologies. Europeans have experience and technologies but we are not interested in merely dumping everything here. We want to know what is really required here,” EBTC director Poul V Jensen said.
