Demand for Frontier Nagaland State 'un-negotiable, uncompromising': ENPO

The ENPO has stated that taking stock of the various statements and opinions from various agencies, quarters etc over the past few months, weeks & days “creating unprecedented confusion and unwanted propaganda amongst the people in the State in regard to the Statehood demand by the ENPO from the Govt of India”, the people of the 6 (six) tribes of Eastern Nagaland has made it clear that the ENPO continues to stand firm on the resolution as adopted on the 25th May 2007 at Tuensang HQ on the demand for a full-fledged Statehood (Frontier Nagaland).
A press note issued by ENPO Vice President Yonglong Konyak and General Secretary Toshi Wangtung stated that the Statehood was “un-negotiable and uncompromising”.
