Defer polls for solution : 6 political parties urge PM

A joint meeting on January 5 by leaders of several national parties in Nagaland - Congress, BJP, JD (U), NCP, TMC and RJD - resolved that the government of India “should give more importance to the ongoing political talks between the government of India and the Naga national groups.”
In this regard, the six political parties urged upon the prime minister of India, to expedite years of peace talks on the Naga political issue to its “logical conclusion” that was “honourable and acceptable to all sections of the society.”
