Courage Begets Crown
Moirangthem Minakshi Devi *
Thorny turns thrive on tracks in life's tours by spirited souls.
Tricky tracks, but, those often lead to golden goals.
Rocky though, being rewarding roads with creative curves,
Invite those to travel through in life's races, me to serve.
I, but, too afraid to tour through the turn,
To me as those sites seem so stern.
Mind mine yet ask me to roll on for the goal in brisk,
For that as I need to run the ruling risk.
Courageous steps ahead I have to take with cautious care,
For, the hurdles are hurled on me by my fictitious fear.
Rolled out I a wake up call for the courage that lies dormant,
Showered that power and incite me play freely in life's tough tournament.
Indeed, fortune favours those -
Who fears, but, pick- up power to steer it clear.
Who fears, but, face it with open eyes, lack of tears.
