A Civil Society Delegation Met CM of Manipur ; Informed the Grievance of Drinking Water Crisis
Kakching, Manipur, 7th May 2017
A civil society delegation from Kakching met and congratulated Shri. N. Biren Singh, the honourable Chief Minister of Manipur yesterday. After becoming the new Chief Minister of Manipur, people of Manipur has witnessed many changes under the BJP government within short span of time.
The members of All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisation, Manipur Branch, led the delegation of the civil society. The delegation met the honourable Chief Minister on 5th March 2017 at 5 PM at his office. The delegation brought to the honourable Chief Minister about the proper functioning of the newly bifurcated Kakching District and the unfinished water scheme called ‘Augmentation of Kakching Water Supply’. The public of Kakching has been facing crisis and hardship due to the acute shortage of drinking water facilities for many years.
The Hon’ble CM also promised many a lot for the people of Kakching District. He will assure of making Kakching more developed by completely all the plans and projects which had started before.
The delegation also expressed the desire of the people of Kakching to have a grand reception of the honourable Chief Minister at Kakching.
