Build 'house' for Nagas of Nagaland first Khole
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Jan 13 (NPN)
Acknowledging “weaknesses and strengths” including differences and “fratricidal killings” in the course of Naga movement, GPRN/NSCN chairman ‘Gen. (retd.)’ Khole Konyak Sunday expressed the need to build the “house for Nagas” of Nagaland as a first step towards a common destiny before uniting other Nagas scattered in different states and countries.
In a New Year message to the Nagas, Khole said that it was not possible to unite all the Northeast regions under one banner at this juncture “when we cannot even unite the family back home.”
Stating that Nagas were spread across Myanmar, Manipur, Arunachal and Assam and raising the question as to who would be leading them, Khole opined that the Naga tribes under the present state of Nagaland needed to build the house as a first step to reach the “destiny” before stepping out and uniting other Nagas.
