- Manipur artist's tale of personal tragedy

His "brush with death", a little over seven years back, could be gauged by many at an art exhibition in Manipur State Gallery this afternoon.
Konthoujam Maikel Singh calls his work on canvas Memorable Dark, one which portrays the blast at Pourabi in Imphal East district in December 2007 that claimed eight lives and injured 31. Singh had lost both his legs in the incident.
