Beneath our hearts
Rashmi Elangbam *
Not every roses smells good
Not every faces tell the truth
Like the darkness and the good
Like the ying and yang
Not every smile is pure
Not every facts are true
Angels or demons
Which do you choose?
Hearts dipped in pure insanity
all coloured white
Faces painted like madness
Underneath it lies goodness
All opposite poles
but no one knows
The real truth hidden
in all smiles
in all frowns
So open your eyes
Look deep into their hearts
You'll find what lies
underneath all angels
underneath all demons.
