Army calls for better ties with Myanmar

The army has stressed on the importance of better ties between India and Myanmar ahead of the Pangsau Pass Winter Festival, which will begin at the India-Myanmar border at Nampong in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh from January 20.
Flagging off the Burma Road bicycle expedition from the 25 sector Assam Rifles camp at Lekhapani, Brigadier Rajinder Singh said the Pangsau Pass Festival will act as a catalyst in improving trade relations between India and Myanmar.
