Aircel to expand 3G in 6 states
The Telegraph | Rining Lyngdoh | Shillong, Dec. 3:
Telecom service provider Aircel today announced expansion of 3G network across six northeastern states - Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura.
Aircel business head (Northeast), Nilaj Mahalanavis told reporters here that the 3G coverage would be rolled out in 117 towns of these six states by January to provide an "uninterrupted service to its customers with a maximum 3G speed of upto 7 Mbps (megabytes per second)".
