Adventure programme attracts youth in Manipur

With an objective to familiarize the youth with nature, cultures, heritage sites and adventure activities, a seven-day long adventure and leadership training programme was organised at Landen village in Churachandpur district of Manipur form January 2 to 8. Held under the aegis of the Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA), the event was sponsored by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
“Various activities like Jungle survival, leadership training and disaster management are included in the programme, and we are also going to give lessons which are not found in another sports discipline.
