Dr Thingnam Kishan :: A man with a vision for a mission
By Brojen Sinam *
A ideal person not only for the knowledge and intelligence he endure, more so of his flawless integrity.
A symbolical personality, not only the parents but also the whole of humankind was proud of being an associate. A perfect character which leaves nothing unsolved and nothing disagreeable to those with a positive mindset.
He preferred to attain greater things by virtue, and guide others to upkeep a cultured society where human values are regarded. His beliefs on selfish motives are nothing but a fool’s paradise, which are short-lived, with no progress other than whirling around its vicious circle.
Dr Thingnam Kishan was a man having passion with a clear and positive vision spearheading a mission. His mission was to bring a positive change, a change that almost each and everyone has failed in this corroded system.
His strong determination and endurance to achieve his goal were not deterred by the challenges of the pseudo in the system and the criminals. His goal was nothing other than an interest to uplift the exploited populace by the present practices.
Not many could have done this; for it needs great strength of mind and spirit to counter the threats of the evildoers. His presence was almost a god send, a messenger like Jesus making a brief visit to make the people realise and to uphold the spirit of righteousness in this world of sinners and cowards.
Someday mankind would surely pray for the rebirth of a person like him (Kishan) who was an epitome of love, progress, humanity, etc.
His vision was to ensure development in the true sense particularly of the underdeveloped areas. He was a man of conviction. When he said something, he said only the right and will keep his words. He will do everything and anything within his capacity to make the best of the resources available to bring about a positive change selflessly.
His passion for an equitable and holistic development of Manipur could not have been imagined even by many more worthy persons. He knew the price and paid the highest to the devils for salvation of his people.
His brief presence among us was a great moment and the sacrifice he made for us was for our development.
Let us pray for his soul to rest in peace and follow the path of righteousness to realise his dream.
