A Poet Less Known
Jitendra Kumar Singh*
With a touch minimal
Your hand invisible
Took me to a world
I had never known
Travelling miles and miles
Through secret paths
By and by leading me
To my own home
In a moment much familiar
To my heart..all efforts failed
To delay your departure
You left.. and left behind
A sweet little pain of a
Moment spent in your arms
In the darkness lit up with
Your sobs and occasional mirths
A composition soft and low.
There I lived a life with you
Ages worth living...
In a harmonious blend of
Pleasure and pain
In a perfect union
Between loss and gain!
You left.. and left behind
A world away from the world
Where I delight in the fullness
Of your joyful emptiness in me
In love with you
Away from the world
In my own world I am lost!!
