A Dream Though
Jitendra Kumar Singh*
You came in my dream
Last night
On your pilgrimage
You were speechless
I was breathless,
My miserable heart
Your concerned look
Very divine very natural
Almost dead we both
You could not put across
The contents of your heart
entirely
Veiled within you were
Feelings of love
And greeting of
Stealthy smiles
The serenity of
Your reluctant eyes
Gave an affirming nod
Making all my previous
Dreams come true!
But this dream is still a dream
It’s only you
Who can make it true
So that I can tell the world
Out of their sight
I am your lamp
You are my light!
