Assam Rifles celebrates 71st Independence day
On the eve of 71st Independence Day, a vibrant cultural programme was organised at the Battalions Headquarters, Sector Headquarters under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South).
Independence day was celebrated with fervour in Assam Rifles Public School, Mantripukhri.
The events began flag Hoisting followed by a cultural programme by the children showcasing the culture and heritage of our great country.
Assam Rifles celebrates 71st Independence day
A weapons and equipment display was organised by 45 Assam Rifles. The event was attended by 237 students and 15 teachers. Refreshments and sweets were given to them on this occasion.
The day saw enthusiastic participation and provided an opportunity to spread awareness about security forces and generate a sense of patriotism amongst the students.
