Imphal, March 17: A 29 year old man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen yesterday at about 9.45 pm near the Chengkongpang Telephone Exchange under Churachandpur police station.

The deceased is identified as Kaimonsang Gangte of Chengkongpai Colony.

The body has been handed over to family members after post mortem was conducted at Churachandpur district hospital.
