Imphal, December 02: The body of Rifleman K Manao Zou (21) s/o Nemniang Zou of Lokjijang, Chandel district who was killed in the ambush laid by suspected underground activists on troops of 9 Assam Rifles at Loukhonuam in Singhat sub-division of Churachandpur district on November 30 was brought to the District Hospital last night.

Post-mortem was conducted today.

Another Rifleman who sustained injuries in the ambush has been identified as Md Rafi (29).He is reportedly undergoing treatment at the unit hospital of the AR.
