Imphal, May 20: Condemning the killing of innocent civilians on May 15 at NC Hills, a co-ordination committee was constituted in a joint meeting of seven organisations of Lanka (Assam), namely Assam Meetei Chanura Apunba Lup, Achhalik Jatibadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad, NSUI Lanka branch, Progressive Manipuri Student Alliance of Brahmaputra Valley, AMSU Lanka Division, Bengali Student Federation and Nagaon District Meira Paibee Co-ordination Committee on May 17 .

The Committe chaired by Ch Indira demanded the Assam Government to grant an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh and Rs 5 lakh to the family of deceased and injured persons respectively.

The committee also demanded for Government jobs to a family member of the victims.

The committe further warned that they would take up various agitation if the demands are not met within seven days.
