Imphal, July 29: One Suraj Ram (27) s/o Ramchandra Ram, a native of Madhubani, Bihar was shot by some unidentified persons at Khoyathong Polem Leikai at about 9 pm today.

A tile layer by profession, Suraj Ram is staying in a rented room of one Polem Rajen at Khoyathong Polem Leikai.

He was hit by one bullet on each of his calves.

The incident took place when he was coming back to his room .

He is currently undergoing treatment at RIMS.
