Imphal, January 12: Noted writer and outspoken social figure of Nagaland, Kaka D Iralu has said that no Naga organizations- underground or overground can demand unequivocal support for the ongoing peace talks between Government of India and the NSCN(IM) leaders at New Delhi.

According to the firebrand writer no one could and should seek peoples support as it is an undisclosed and unstated talk with India while describing the same as obscure.

Nagas cannot be asked to blindly support something which they do not know, Iralu widely regarded as a Naga philosopher remarked.

He further said that the people should not be asked to give their consent and commitment to abide by anything that may later turn out to be a damp squib and undesirable.

Echoing necessity of including all organization for a lasting solution to the nearly five decades old Naga issue, Iralu said only the NSCN(IM) and Government of India cannot decide the peoples future and mooted inclusion and taking into confidence organizations like the NNC, NSCN(K), and political parties like the NCP, Congress etc.
