Imphal, November 22: Many social organisations have come out strongly against PULF for the bomb attack launched at the office of World Vision at Maringlane on November 20.Condemning the bomb attack, Movement for Tribal People's Rights, Manipur (MTPRM) said attacking the unarmed civil organisation whose endeavour is to work for the downtrodden, underprivileged and poorest section, irrespective of castes and creed by armed organisation supposedly working for the welfare of the people deserves condemnation by all right thinking people.

Kuki Students' Organisation, General Headquarters said this kind of unprecedented attack is unheard of in the revolutionary movement of Manipur and questioned what PULF is trying to prove by issuing warning to an NGO working tirelessly for the development of the State.

The village development committee, Church elders, women society, youths and members of Maringlane have also strongly condemned the bomb attack at office World Vision India, a humanitarian organisation working for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden people of Manipur irrespective of caste, creed and religion and said the bombing has in fact raised the eyebrows of all and sundry taking into consideration of the sacrifices shown by all the staff of the organisation.

Decrying the bomb attack at the office of World Vision India, Tangkhul Aze Katamnao Long (TAKL) said such act of intimidation and threat is nothing but timidity, cowardice and lack of maturity unbefitting of any revolutionary group.

While condemning the bomb attack in the strongest term, TAKL has also appealed to all concerned not to interference in the smooth functioning of World Vision India, but rather to support proper implementation of its welfare programmes for the poorest section of the society.

Development Committee Risophung Island and Leishiphung (RIL), Nongdam Cluster, Ukhrul ADP and Sangga Vanchoi Kilena Lompi (Sa-Va-Kil) have also condemned the bomb attack and appealed to ensure such incident do not recur.
